amy

spaghetti fanatic

hey there, I’m amy! 16, always curious, and I like making things. I’ve been programming full-time for 6 years since I was 10. I specialise in Android/iOS, and I’ve worked extensively with backend and frontend.

I wanted a website that felt like mine, and now you’re looking at it! Retaining that old internet blog style, with a desktop cat, and an unreasonable number of easter eggs (find the secret garden!).

when I’m not coding I’m sleeping, and when I’m not sleeping, I’m programming.

amytrieslife.com

designed & made by me with help from my friend Claude Fable, with more easter eggs that neccesary.

🌱 02-pixel-garden.md shipped (secretly)

the pixel garden

a tiny farming game, written in plain typescript with no game framework. technically a secret page. don’t tell anyone.

💬 03-sad-bot.md still listening ♡

sad bot

Meet Sad_Bot :) The crappiest chatbot you’ll talk to in 2026, but the most authentic one.

He was built in 2020 when I was 10 years old, back before AI chatbots were a thing. I made it as a little rule-based Dialogflow chatbot that was taught how to respond, one intent at a time. I found sad_bot collecting dust in my google drive, so I’ve reviving sad_bot on my website! He doesn’t understand alot, he’s kind of dumb, but I still talk to sad_bot because it feels like talking to a little part of younger me.

🐈 04-desktop-cat.md free to adopt ♡

the desktop cat

A tiny cat that walks around the bottom of any website, takes naps, gets the zoomies, and gives you a heart when you pet her. I made her as a reusable web component so anyone can adopt her with one snippet of code.

contact.txt

want to build something similar, or just say hi? the inbox is open and the cat answers eventually.
