I went to cavite for the weekend with my soon-to-be step mum nikki, she grew up there and we stayed with her family. Remember my Mac n cheese blog post? Consequently, my siblings wanted mac n cheese because of all the talk. Driving home now with a dish of mac n cheese that Nikki made, what a fever dream of a week.

Today’s day was a littleeee long, and TMI period cramps were killing me through work, but nothing beat the feeling of coming on here at the end of the day and seeing 100 hearts!! I literally gasped and my brother came over and we looked through the secret garden notes together. I never thought something so little would reach random people by literally a blog about mac n cheese lmao. Anyway, goodnight everyone, I hope we all sleep well tonight <3

I got my dream camera yesterday!! My Dad and I have discussed getting a camera for a long time, comparing notes and specs. We settled on the DJI Pocket Osmo 4, and it’s soo cute and tiny, it’s a vlog stick camera. I’m so attached to this thing I feel like a toddler with a new toy, I carry it everywhere, I constantly pick it up to admire it, can’t believe it’s mine now uwu

YAY It’s the end of the week!! To finish of the 1am shift I blasted a 1 hour remix of the song “Sunflower” from spiderman. I sung that song over and over while fixing dev bugs. Hope everyone has an absolutely awesome weekend.

Note to future self: Do not end calls from boss by saying “Well I’ll leave you to it!”, got a puzzled reaction and a prompt “bye” lmao.

Currently on a cockroach killing spree. Found their little hideout in the cutlery drawer sobs. I went to grab the sisccors from the drawer and was greeted by a cockroach chilling in a soup ladle. My brother came out, we removed the drawer, pushed back the utensils, and what do you know? 6 COCKROACHES JUST LOOKING BACK AT US. I screamed and sprayed the baygon fly spray like it was a machine gun while ethan squished the frantic bugs. Giving me the hibby jeebies just recounting that experience. I am on high alert now.

feeling a lil sad, but just a lil. I get pockets of sadness sometimes, and I just go through it like a sickness, because it will always get better after a day or 2. I dearly miss my older sister, she just got a job working for this amazing family, they love her so much that they even said I could come and stay with them in London for Christmas as her sister. Obviously Dad wouldn’t let it, but I’m feeling the FOMO right now. Got my hood up listening to D4vd, going to work through the storm :))

unpopular opinion: hip hop dance looks pretty silly to me

I finally found my lip tint that i had lost for weeks, I forgot how absolutely gorgeous it looks on my lips. Literally had it for 3 years, it’s run out but I’m using the last crumbs of it lol.

I made it through work today! I sniffled through all of it and forgot what I was working on every 5 minutes, but alas, I still managed to get by. I usually take sick days, but maybe there’s a real plus in pushing myself to work through the cold :)

I finished the book “An island to oneself” last night, such a good read. It’s a true story about a guy who pursues the dream we all think off, running off to a deserted island and living there alone. The book came to my attention since I met his grandaughter (and coincidentally she dated my brother lol), and she gave me the signed copy to read. I was 11 back then and I only got halfway through before wanting fiction books again. This time though, I really enjoyed the whole read and felt a sense of sadness when it ended and knowing that the man (Tom Neale) is dead. We really can do crazy things in life. I stayed up till about 5am last night, couldn’t sleep with the sniffles haha.

The song “Sex” by The 1975 is an absolute banger, it’s like I crave the song all the time. Don’t judge by the title!! It’s such a good song imo, I remember my older brother playing it when I was a kid, that’s where the nostalgia is from lol.

yesterday was a rollercoaster of a day … but ultimately a good day. A girl I met in malaysia last year just moved over to close where I live, so I invited her to hangout with some of my friends, it was a big group and we had so much fun and we did so many things together. Honestly, I love so many different things about each of my friends, even though I sometimes have no clue what they’re saying (language barrier lol), we have the best time ever.
