There was a girl named emily and she had a dog named Tom. She loved homeschooling because she got to walk tom every day. One day her mother told her that she needed to go to school. As she left to go to school she gave Tom one last pat on the head. Tom was in big danger there was some new people that just moved in the neighbourhood they owned 2 really big bulldogs “hello i want to show you something” the bulldog said “come this way” they added “ok”replied tom as they walked through the forest tom got scareder and scareder “now follow the stream west” said the bulldog “ok” he said as he started following the stream he got lost “Oh no” he said he realised that it was a trap. Meanwhile Emily came home and tom was gone “Tom are you there??” she said sadly she sat down and cried. A few minutes later she heard a howl that sounded like tom. Emily raced down to the forest and followed the river west she saw footprints as she came closer Emily found tom she took him back home “I missed you” she said they both sat down next to the fire “her mother came out from the kitchen “you were very late” she said “oh sorry i was buying the soap for the house” Emily replied “ok”she said “Today we are having tacos” she added “Yay”she said. Emily went to school and came back “well this is very exciting but this is your brother”. He called Max he was big and brown. Tom hated Max, but Max gave him a big lick “see he likes you” said Emily. He started messing up the kitchen just as Max was trying to put the items back but he couldn’t keep up “look how mad Emily is going to be” said Tom. They went outside then all the cats came then they took off both of their golden collars. Then the animal control came and locked them in a cage there were other pets there, that also had friends. Their friend (a bunny) took the other pets out of the cage “Can you take us out as well?” Asked Tom “tell us your detailed story,” said the bunny “We hate humans that’s why we burned our collars,” said Max “That’s awesome said the bunny, come on” added the bunny.”To the sewers!” said the bunny “The sewers?” said Max and Tom “yea” said the bunny. followed the bunny to the sewers.”Tell them your story!” said the bunny “well we got a spoon and hit our owners with it” said Tom “a spoon what can you do with that?” said the bunny “boring” “Needs more detail!!”she added “it’s time for killing Tom first” said the bunny “What?” said Tom he started running but then it leads to a dead end. Then the roof crushed the snake. Then they started running through a tunnel then it leads to the sea. “Hold your breath,” said Max. They swam and swam. Kate started looking for them she saw the bunny in the sewers saying about tom “Tom?” said Kate “Where is Tom, he is my friend” said Kate “He is in new york now” said the bunny. The bunny was really angry at Tom and Max that they went to new york. They found them and then animal control came and took away Max and the bunny’s teammates. “We’re going to join forces, ” said the bunny “What?” questioned Tom the bunny took over the truck and started driving and Tom did the gas pedals. “Your driving like an animal” cried, Tom. Then it fell off the bridge. Then Kate came Then hit all of the bunny’s teammates. “Ok gotta go,” said Tom. He got the keys then it fell out of his hand. “Remember me!” said the bunny he dived into the sea then got the keys and gave it to Tom he unlocked the cage then swam back to the bridge. teammates got a taxi for them and they drove them home. Emily came back “Hmm.. Looks like the kitchen is a mess today?” said Emily they both tried to look as innocent as they could. “Come on,” said Emily as they all snuggled on the rooftop watching the stars. The End

This book is based on my dogs one is black and yellow and the other one is yellow. We don’t have a name for the first dog but we sometimes call him Batman. The second one is called Tom. They adopted us they are neighborhood dogs there are about 20 neighborhood dogs in this village we live in Tbilisi.

Amongst her mother’s possessions, she found a crystal. It was no ordinary crystal, it changed color every time she touched it.

She found it rather interesting until it slipped out of her hands at shattered to pieces. She knew that her mother probably heard it shatter. So she quickly swept it all up under her mother’s bed and dashed to her room.

And of course, her mother said that the crystal was missing. It came as no surprise that her mother grounded her, she always blamed everything on her, well it was her fault anyway.

She hesitated and started looking up on her laptop what kind of crystal it was, it turns out, it’s called a mood pendant. A mood pendant detects your mood by changing its color, and each color represents your mood.

And the way it knows your mood is by you’re temperature. Right then, her mother barged in with a stressful look on her face. “Why were you touching my possessions?” her mother demanded.

Josie had to find her necklace since it’d been missing for a while. She started searching all over the house. When she got to her sister, Emma’s room, Josie immediately saw Emma wearing her necklace around her neck.

Josie was outraged. She marched over to Emma and snatched her necklace off Emma’s neck. Instantly, Emma started crying. By the time Josie’s mum came up, Emma was already throwing things across the room, in a fit of rage.

After Josie explained to her mum that it was Emma who stole her necklace, Josie asked her mum to do something about it, to Josie’s surprise, her mum grounded Josie instead.

Outraged at both her mum and her sister, Josie stormed to her room and cried herself to sleep.

She had found the box that would give her wishes but, there was a catch when she gets too greedy then the spell goes away. The box could only give her one wish.

She used her one wish on never being poor, she knew that everyone would think she was wasteful for not using on something else more powerful, but she was certain to make this wish.

She first went to the nearest store from her house and decided to buy a bottle of juice, a chocolate bar, and some bread. At the counter, the checkout operator said it was 12 dollars. And it came to no surprise there were 12 dollars in her wallet!

She was so happy with this new knowledge, she could buy so many things!

She bought a house, a new vehicle, and a computer, and every time she looked into her wallet there was always just enough cash to purchase what she wanted.

Over time, she got greedy, she always purchased things for herself and never gave anything to the poor. One time at midday, she went to a restaurant to buy lunch, and when she got to the counter she opened her wallet, and there was nothing there. She instantly realized what had happened.

She ran to her car, but there was no car, she walked to her house, there was no house. When she sobbed and pleaded for forgiveness, precisely then, a fairy appeared right next to her and said: “Next time don’t be greedy”;

The prison gates closed in front of Kile. As they closed, Kile saw someone standing just outside the prison gates. Unsurprisingly, it was his brother, Brandon. Using sign language, Brandon signed, “I’m sorry Kile. I’ll get you out of here in no time”, Kile smiled back at Brandon.

Brandon walked back into his car and drove off. Kile watched his car until it disappeared in the distance. It wasn’t Kile’s fault that he was now in prison. It was Brandon who had committed the crime. But when the police came, Brandon had hidden so the police charged Kile instead.

Kile hesitated as he reached the cell door, but with a shove, the police on either side of him pushed him in. In Kile’s mind, he knew it was going to be fine. He would get out of this place since his brother had promised him.

Weeks went by and nothing happened. Kile languished in his cell. Gradually he realized that Brandon wasn’t coming back for him. Disappointment filled his eyes.

Noah woke up. On the far end of his bedroom, he saw a gleaming blue portal. The portal was faintly echoing his name. In the back of Noah’s head, something urged him to walk into the portal.

Noah took a deep breath, knowing that this might be the best, or the worst, decision in his whole life. Noah closed his eyes and walked into the portal letting the swirling vortex suck him in.

The next thing Noah knew, he was falling from the sky. Then Noah landed in the ocean with a huge splash. He thought he was going to drown. Surprisingly, as he sank, a bubble emerged around Noah letting him breathe calmly.

Noah wondered about the bubble that had emerged around him. With a soft bump, he finally arrived at the ocean floor. Noah could faintly hear a melody of words drifting through the water:

“One did peek, and one did seek, the icy land, of the mermaid creek.”

Whenever Noah walked around, the bubble moved wherever he moved. He walked around for what seemed like an hour. He came across a hole. inside the hole, it had the same swirling patterns that matched the portal in his bedroom, except this portal was pink.

Noah went through the pink swirling portal. To Noah’s surprise, it was not a teleporter. Instead, it led to a magic opening. In the distance, Noah could see lots of mermaids were relaxing outside an ice castle that was filled with water.

“Unusual, but pretty” Noah thought. Mermaid bartenders were swimming in the water serving drinks to the mermaids outside the ice castle. There were also mermaids singing the same faint melody that he’d heard earlier.

The magic scene didn’t last for long. A hissing sound blared “Intruder, Intruder”. All the mermaids instantly swam into the protection of the ice castle.

The mermaids were swimming so fast it looked like they were all doing a swimming race.

A mermaid with pink scales stopped swimming and looked at Noah. The mermaid exclaimed to the other mermaids “No rush! It’s not a giant. It’s just a human”. All the mermaids stopped and looked at Noah. Some covered their mouths and gasped when they saw Noah.

Noah guessed that they’d never seen a human before. They welcomed him and took him in the ice castle with the bubble still surrounding him. Noah had never seen such a beautiful luxurious castle like this one before. It had ice chandeliers and ice couches, comfy beds, and fluffy pillows.

The mermaid took him to an ice banquet table with several mermaids seated around it. They all introduced themselves to Noah. The pink scaled mermaid that had stopped to look at Noah had brown hair and was called Linh. The queen of the mermaids was called Felica, and she had blonde hair. The rest of the names Noah couldn’t pronounce.

“So Noah, how did you get to our mermaid land?” Queen Felicia asked. Noah explained the portal and the bubble that he had on him. Queen Felica was very concerned and interested at the same time.

She called her servants to find the mermaid from the lab room. A few moments later, a mermaid with orange hair and purple scales came in and greeted the queen.

“Have a seat Tanja, I’ve called you here because this boy somehow teleported here” declared Queen Felica. Tanja glanced at Noah and then replied to Queen Felica’s question “I was doing some testing in the lab when I accidentally sent a teleporter to a random place in the human world.

Queen Felica’s face turned red. Noah could tell that she was trying her best not to get angry. Queen Felica took a deep breath and replied: “You did what?”. Tanja could tell that Queen Felica was very cross. “I… I um sent a teleporter” Tanja said in the most innocent way possible. At this point, Queen Felica looked like she was going to yell at Tanja.

“Meet me at my office at 5 pm tomorrow. You are dismissed.” Queen Felica said. Tanja curtsied and went back to her lab. Queen Felica told Linh to give Noah a tour around the ice castle. Linh showed him the ice skating rink, the gardens, the hospital, and the rooms.

At the end of the tour, Linh took Noah to his room. The room had a huge bed in the corner of the room. When Linh left, a flying raccoon splatted on the window with a loud thud.

Noah rushed to the window and opened it. The raccoon was still breathing but was a bit injured. Noah took him to the hospital that Linh had shown him earlier.

The mermaid doctors said he was fine. Noah left the raccoon there and went back to his room. He went to sleep but got woken up by the sound of knocking coming from the window.

Noah stumbled across to the window and found that the same raccoon sitting there. He took it into his room and let it sleep on the carpet. Noah fell asleep to the sound of the raccoon snoring like a chainsaw.

When he woke up, the raccoon was still there snoring away. Noah left him there hoping that he wouldn’t tear apart the furniture in his bedroom.

Noah went downstairs to see Linh. When he got to her office, she wasn’t there. So instead, Noah decided to wander around the castle. While Noah was exploring the castle, he saw Queen Felica’s office. All he could hear was yelling coming from the office.

Noah realized that Queen Felica was telling off with Tanja. Noah put his ear to the door and heard Queen Felica yell “YOU MIGHT OF ACCEDINTLY PUT A TELEPORTER IN THE GIANT WORLD!!”. They didn’t seem like they were having a nice chat. The door swung open and Noah ran away as quickly as possible.

When he got back to his room, the raccoon had moved to his bed. Noah sat on the bed and moved the raccoon onto his lap. He thought about the conversation but mostly wondered about what the giant world could be.

Noah headed to the library, carrying the raccoon in his hand, to search for what the giant world was. He found a book explaining all about the giant world.

They used to have peace with the giants but then they split up, and until this day the mermaids are still hiding from them. It explained why Queen Felica was mad at Tanja.

Noah was still reading that book about why the giants split with the mermaids when the castle started to shake. Noah

When Noah got to the main hall he saw a giant knocking down the walls of the castle. He’d seen giants in books but in real life, they seemed much scarier.

This giant had many spikes on his back and had a blue tongue. The mermaids were shooting ice walls from their hands, but the giant kept knocking them down.

Noah didn’t know what to do, the giant was getting closer and closer into the middle of the ice castle. Noah closed his eyes and expected all to be lost. Suddenly, a huge flashed blinded his eyes, even though they were closed.

When Noah and the rest of the mermaids opened they’re eyes, the giant was gone. Then all the mermaids stared at me. Linh stammered “Y .. You’re glowing Noah”. He looked at himself to find a layer of glowing lights around him.

What bothered Noah more was the shining runes written on his chest. “Alf Seider” One of the mermaids read the runes out loud.

“It can’t be” trembled Linh.

“What does ‘Alf Seider’ mean?” Noah asked with curiosity.

Queen Felica stepped out of the shadows “its a kind of magic that only a few people can hold” remarked Queen Felica.

“So what did I just do?” He asked.

“I assume that you sent that giant back to its kingdom!” cheered Queen Felica.

Everyone cheered for Noah. He wasn’t certain why he had this superpower. Noah was exhausted from doing that magic spell, so he went to his room for a nap.

When he got downstairs for breakfast, a new mermaid, with glasses and a book in her hand, was at the table. When Noah sat down, Linh introduced him to the new mermaid.”Noah this is Samantha, and she’ll be teaching you to take control of your powers,” said Linh

“Hi” Samantha said shyly.

Their conversation got interrupted by Tanja hurrying in with a vial in one hand and a needle in the other.

“Hi. Very sorry for interrupting” Tanja said in a hurry, also noticing Queen Felica’s angry face.

Tanja gave Noah a drink of the vial, then pricked the bubble, that was surrounding him, with the needle. After that, he could breathe without needing the bubble.

“Yes! It worked!” Tanja cheered.

“Thank you Tanja, my trust for you is now restored” Queen Felica said.

Tanja curtsied and left the room.

After finishing breakfast, Samantha led Noah to her office. Her office had books lined all around it. Noah knew that Samantha loved books.

“Have a seat Noah” Samantha requested. Noah sat down on a comfy blue chair.

“So you had no idea you had this sort of power before, right?” Samantha asked.

“No” He responded.

Samantha hurried over to a bookshelf and checking each book. She finally picked a book and gave it to Noah.

“What does this say, Noah?” Samantha asked. “The tale of Mahcniz” Noah read.

Samantha gave Noah a pink circular disc. Just when Noah was about to ask what it was Samantha already replied.

“When you see a giant, throw this disc at it”.

Samantha taught Noah all about his special powers. He could read any type of text, and teleport people. Afterwards, Noah was exhausted. When he got to his bedroom, there was more furniture in his room. There was a bed for the raccoon, a big TV, and a bigger couch in front of the TV.

Noah sat down on the couch and turned on the TV. To his surprise, Samantha was on TV explaining that there would be no giants harming the icy kingdom.

Samantha explained, on TV, how Noah had powers to stop giants, but Noah wasn’t in the mood for it. He turned off the TV and went to bed.

Noah got woken up. When he opened his eyes, the raccoon was standing directly on top of his chest.

“Hello?” the raccoon said with an energetic voice.

“Oh, so you can talk now?” Noah exclaimed. He wasn’t that surprised that the raccoon could talk since he’d seen lots of magic things.

“I can talk! In fact, I can even tell jokes!” The raccoon beamed. “So, what’s your name?” Noah asked. “My name is Paige!” Paige laughed.

“So, why did you come to my windowsill?” Noah inquired.

“All of the flying raccoons chose me to show you the portal” Page said with a grin. “What portal?” Noah asked with curiosity. Paige didn’t reply to his question. Instead, Paige said, “Meet me at the ice skating rink in the morning”.

The next morning, Noah headed down to the ice skating rink. When he got to the ice skating rink, Paige was already there.

“You ready?” Paige asked as she pulled Noah onto the ice.

“Ready for what?” Noah gulped.

“Ready for the bump” Paige cautioned.

Noah tripped over an icy bump and slid down a slippery slope until they fell into a room underneath the ice castle. Noah couldn’t recognize anything around him until he saw the green portal.

“All the raccoons have been trying to let the mermaids know that there’s a portal here” Paige said.

“What do you mean by ‘trying to let the mermaids know’ can’t you just tell them?” Noah asked.

“Flying Raccoons can only talk to humans” Paige replied.

Noah already knew the portal was leading to the giants. Samantha had told him that green portals led to the giants.

He saw a word written above the portal. “Mahcniz”. Noah remembered the book title he’d read out at Samantha’s office.

“What’s Mahcniz?” Noah asked.

“Mahcniz is the king of the giants” Paige replied.

Noah studied the portal for a bit. Suddenly, it shuddered, and a giant popped out. This time, Noah was prepared. He threw the pink circular disc at the giant. Noah thought the giant would vanish, but only one of the giant’s fingers got chopped off.

The giant didn’t look very happy. As the giant roared in pain, the giant looked around to see who chopped his finger off. Soon, his eyes settled upon Noah.

Noah gulped as the giant ran towards him. The mermaids must have heard the giant roaring, because Samantha and her mermaid friends came to help, but with one swipe of his fist, the giant knocked Samantha unconscious.

Noah gritted his teeth in rage. He stared hard at the giant, then everything went black. When he woke up, sweat was trickling down his face. Noah looked around to see all the mermaids cheering.

“You’ve got rid of the portal once and for all” Paige said.

When they all got back up to the ice skating rink, Queen Felica was standing there with a big smile on her face.

“Everyone, take Samantha to the hospital, then come to the dining room” Queen Felica said.

A few mermaids carried Samantha to the hospital while the rest of them went to the dining hall.

The giants were never seen again in the land of the ice mermaids.

Ashley woke up to a rabbit on the corner of her bed. Ashley screamed. As much as she liked rabbits, she was scared by this one.

Its fur was a blueish color and it had black spots on its back. Ashley’s Mum must’ve heard her scream because her Mum came running to her room.

“Are you okay?” Her Mum asked.

Ashley looked at the spot where the rabbit was, but it was gone.

“Nothing mum. Just a nightmare” Ashley replied.

Her Mum left the room, and Ashley was on her own again. The whole night she couldn’t sleep.

The next night the same rabbit was in her room. This time, she didn’t scream. Timidly, the rabbit squeaked “How do you do?”. Ashley dived under her covers in surprise.

“I won’t harm you” the rabbit squeaked.

“Y - You talk?” Ashley stuttered as she peeked out of her blanket.

“Yes. All the rabbit’s from Rabbit Land talk” the rabbit replied.

“Do you want to see our land?” The rabbit asked.

“It depends. Is it scary there?” Ashley inquired.

“No. It’s lovely, I assure you” The rabbit said.

“Do I have your word?” Ashley asked.

The rabbit held up a gleaming crystal and said: “Take us to Rabbit land”. Suddenly, it felt like one hundred cats were licking Ashley from head to toe. before she knew it, they’d arrived at Rabbit land.

As Fireflies buzzed all around her, she could see many other magical creatures. What she found most interesting was a well that was glowing a bright shade of blue.

“What’s that well?” Ashley asked.

“Long story” the rabbit replied.

“Come this way. Oh, and by the way, my name is Marley” he said.

Ashley followed the rabbit to a village of small homes, made out of leaves.

Marley led Ashley inside one of the leaf homes. This leaf home had one floor, but with lots of space. “Wouldn’t my parents notice that I’m gone?” Ashley asked.

“Our time is different here. They won’t notice you’re gone is the short answer” Marley replied.

Just when Ashley was about to ask about the long answer, she got cut off by Marley.

“Meet me at the well in the morning, I’ve got to go” Marley insisted, and then he hopped off.

Ashley was all by herself again. She went to the bedroom and lay down on the leaf bed. To Ashley’s surprise, the leaf bed was comfy as a marshmallow, and soon she drifted off.

The next morning, Ashley went back to the well. and found Marley there,

“The reason why I brought you to Rabbit land is so you can help us get the other half of the heart,” he said.

“What heart?” Ashley asked.

Marley pointed to the half of a blue heart gleaming on top of the well.

“If we get the other half, then we’ll be granted one wish in the Well” Marley explained.

“Do you know where the other half of the heart is?” Ashley asked.

“We do. It’s in the middle of the wolves base” Marley replied with a slight tremble in his voice.

Marley gave Ashley lots of books about wolves and told her to read them. Ashley went back to the leaf house and settled down on the leaf couch. A note slipped out of the book and fell onto the floor.

Ashley picked up the note and read: “Dear King of the lions,

“Our half heart is in the lockbox with the code: 1653. Please consider helping us find the other half which is held by the rabbits.

“We will make sure to use the wish that will benefit you’re Lion kingdom.

“Sincerely, King of the wolves, Koge.

The note had been dropped by the postman Wolf. “So that was one clue,” Ashley thought. It also meant that the Wolfs were trying to cooperate with the lions to get our half heart.

Ashley read the books one after another. Ashley learned that it was a race between the Rabbits and Wolves to get a full heart

Ashley learned a lot about wolves in the books. After finishing all the books she went out of her leaf house to return the books to Marley. Ashley was surprised to find that it was already dark outside.

Ashley could faintly hear Marley’s voice inside a big leaf house. When she swung the leaf door open, she found Marley talking to a very radiant rabbit.

The rabbit had a shiny crown on her head, teal eyes, and hot pink fur. When the rabbit saw Ashley she gasped with curiosity.

“Queen Edaline, meet Ashley” Marley introduced.

“Hello Ashley, I wasn’t aware you were in Rabbit Land” Queen Edaline said, while carefully eyeing Marley.

“Hello, Queen Edaline. I just need a word with Marley” Ashley requested.

“Very well.” Queen Edaline replied

Ashley led Marley outside of the tent.

“I rea-” Ashley got cut off by the ground shaking.

“Quick! To the well” Marley urged.

When they got to the well, all the other rabbits were already in position ready to attack. The first wolf jumped out of the shadows. A flash of light came out of a rabbit’s wand, striking the wolf.

It had never occurred to Ashley that rabbits had magic weapons. Based on the fact that they can talk, maybe it wasn’t so surprising. The next few minutes were just flash after flash.

Ashley closed her eyes blinded by the flashes. She didn’t know how the rabbits could still see. After a few minutes, the flashes stopped and Ashley opened her eyes again.

Lots of wolf corpses lay scattered around Rabbit Land. Ashley took Marley to her leaf house to talk. “So you wanted to talk?” Marley asked.

“Yes. There was a note in your book.” Ashley replied.

“I was hoping you would ask about that. Could you read it?” Marley asked with hope in his eyes. “Um … Yes” Ashley said curiously.

“Excellent! Can you read it right now?” Marley asked with growing excitement. “Sure thing” Ashley replied.

Ashley pulled the note out of the book. When she opened her mouth to read it, the words on the note were gone.

Marley must’ve noticed the curiosity on Ashley’s face because he asked: “Is everything alright Ashley?”

“The words seemed to have disappeared”Ashley replied, with even more curiosity.

“That must be …” Marley trailed off.

He grabbed the book off Ashley, and flipped to a different page.

“One read paper!” Marley exclaimed.

“What’s ‘One read paper’?” Ashley asked.

“One read paper is paper where the words disappear once you’ve read it” Marley explained.

Ashley was getting hungry and her tummy agreed with her when it grumbled.

“Marley, do you happen to have any human food?” Ashley asked.

“I suppose we do. Just follow me” Marley hopped outside the house with Ashley following him.

Marley led her to a small cottage that was made out of wood. Ashley could hear a voice humming inside the cottage. Marley opened the door and went inside.

Inside the cottage, it was filled with smoke and it had hundreds of wands lying around. The rabbit inside the cottage had frizzy green fur and seemed to be making a potion.

“Do you want me to poison the human or does she mean no harm?” The rabbit questioned in an Irish accent.

“Dylan! Enough of the joking. This is Ashley. She means you no harm” Marley replied while giving him an annoyed look.

“Dylan is a bit of a jokester” Marley whispered in Ashley’s ear.

“Sorry about that Marley. What do you want today?” Dylan asked.

“I need you to make human food” Marley told him.

“Well this will be new” Dylan replied under his breath.

Dylan went to the back of his cottage and took a wand from one of the shelves. “What food do you want?” Dylan asked.Ashley thought of many food types. But when her mind came across the spaghetti her Mum would make for dinner, she knew what she wanted.

“Spaghetti” Ashley replied.

“You might want to move aside” Dylan requested.

After Marley and Ashley cleared off to the corner Dylan recited a poem:

“Dear O wand, As thine as thee, Would you mind making some spaghetti?”

A yellow light twirled gracefully around the wand and in no time there was a plate of spaghetti on the table with a fork on the side.

“Enjoy,” Dylan said while giving Ashley the plate of spaghetti.

“Thank you Dylan” Ashley thanked.

Ashley and Marley left the cottage to go home. She thought about the One read paper and decided to learn more about it.

“Marley, is there a library in rabbit land?” Ashley asked.

“There is. It’s near Queen Edaline house. You’ll know it when you see it” Marley replied.

When they arrived at Ashley’s house, Marley left then Ashley ate the whole plate of spaghetti in five minutes. After that, she lay down on her bed and fell fast asleep.
